Featuring two loft style bedrooms upstairs, which are both air-conditioned with ceiling fans, the cottage comfortably sleeps 6. The main offers a Queen Bed, and built-in, and bedroom two features a queen bed, and one set of single bunks also with a built-in wardrobe. All linen is provided.
It is fully self-contained with a kitchen with modern appliances including, Fridge, Microwave, Electric Stove/Oven, Slow Cooker, Electric Frying Pan, Toaster, Kettle and a Coffee Pod Coffee Machine.
The combined lounge/dining room features a slow combustion fire, a Smart TV which can be hot spotted to watch streaming services, DVD player, with an extensive library available to borrow at reception, CD player and there are also magazines and games for your enjoyment.
It has views of the valley from the outdoor deck which also has an outdoor setting, and BBQ and leads to a separate room with the heated jacuzzi spa.
An outdoor fire pit is available when fire permits allow, and this cottage offers the flattest area for kids to run round and explore…

“From the location to the cosy stone cottage, to the cute visits from Smokey (the horse) we had the best time. We felt like we had the whole property and land to ourselves yet we were so close to town and the Hunter Valley cafes ect. “What a special treat the Rockhouse is! The perfect getaway that makes you feel a million miles from the city. The property is just beautiful and so extremely peaceful. A trip into Morpeth is worth the short drive and breakfast at the common ground is a must! My husband and I enjoyed the quick drive to the top of the hill on the property for the most lovely views, the perfect spot for a picnic. Eloise and Troy have thought of everything and were friendly and accommodating hosts! We will definitely be back!

“We had such an amazing time at the rock house! The property was beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. Lots of birds, and the property’s horse and dog also paid us a visit— super friendly and cute. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and we had ordered food through Eloise and Troy’s partnership with The Hungry Belly… it was delicious and extremely generous portions. Amanda even came and set the slow cooker up for us while we were out. Everything was just what we needed, perfectly clean, lovely and relaxing! Highly recommend.

“Our stay at Rockhouse was absolutely incredible, everything we had hoped for and more! Eloise was super lovely and very helpful – our sparkling wine and treat box on arrival and the picnic basket/pillow set up which we took to the top of the hill to watch the sunset was the cherry on top! The view is stunning and was the perfect opportunity for me to propose to my partner 🙂 Rockhouse holds a very special place in our hearts and we will definitely be back!
